The Harrington College of Design, in collaboration with the Chicago International Poster Biennial Association, will host the 2nd Chicago International Poster Biennial Exhibition from July 11-28. The exhibit will feature 185 posters from around the world, including gold and silver medal winners, winners of certificates for typographic excellence and handmade posters, and finalists in the student competition.

A grand opening, free to the public, will take place on July 14th from 6 - 9 PM. Join us for a glass of champagne and walls full of inspiration. Donors who contribute to the CIPBA on opening night, at various levels, will receive a select, framed poster from the CIPBA archives.

Gallery / school hours for the remainder of the exhibition are as follows: 9am-9pm M-F, 9am-8pm SAT and 11am - 4pm SUN

The 2nd CIPB was curated by an international jury of renowned designers, including Paula Scher of the USA (jury chair), Holger Matthies of Germany, François Caspar of France, Marta Granados of Colombia, Emek of the USA, Rafal Olbinski of Poland, and Takashi Akiyama of Japan.

The CIPBA is a non-profit working to bring the work of international artists to the general public in order to elevate visual literacy, demonstrate the value of cultural diversity, and promote posters as a means of stimulating public dialogue about significant social, political, and economic issues. To donate to CIPBA at any time, please visit the Store page and click the “donate” button. Your donations make exhibitions like this possible. Thank you.
